Discover a little-known chapter of Hudson Valley Jewish history. Sephardic Jewish merchant Luis Moses Gomez arrived in New York in the early 1700s and later expanded his business interests north into the Hudson Valley, establishing property near present-day Marlboro. That site became home to what is recognized as the nation’s oldest Jewish dwelling and has experienced more than 300 years of transformation.
