DUTCHESS OUTREACH
Jewish Family Services works together with Dutchess Outreach, one of the largest private providers of food assistance to the needy in Dutchess County. Our friends at Dutchess Outreach tell us that their food pantry is low on pasta and sauce due to a mid-winter drop in collections.
Here's a simple way to help out those who are struggling to keep food on the table.
It is easy to drop food donations off at Dutchess Outreach, which is located at the Family Partnership Building, 29 N. Hamilton St., Suite 202, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Please drop groceries off during office hours, and if possible, call them at 454-3792 in advance. Alternatively, feel free to bring your contributions to the JCCDC, 110 S. Grand Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 and Jewish Family Services will bring the food to Dutchess Outreach on your behalf.
Please forward this email to anyone you know who might like to help.

BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS

Ali Abunimah, co-founder of "The Electronic Intifadah" and one of the Palestinian activists who spoke at the Conference, mentioned how the "hysterical" reactions to the Conference just proofs that in the Middle East, the final reckoning is coming; Israel's hours are counted! The BDS movement has won the battle of ideas according to him...what's wrong with this picture?
