The GOP, while looking at 2012 and its Presidential candidate, is facing an interesting situation. Opinion polls show that from the field of potential candidates, it is Mitt Romney who would fare the best in an election. Internal Republican pundits, however, point out that Romney might be easier to elect than to nominate. On the other hand Rick Perry, the 61 year old Texan governor of 11 years, could be easy to nominate...but how would he fare in elections? Probably not so well...Who is Rick Perry today?
