The Jewish Family Service of Dutchess County

The Jewish Family Service, a Division of the Jewish Federation, provides help to the local Jewish community by offering short-term counseling, social service referrals, and family life education resources. It also serves as a home for Jewish volunteerism and community building in the Mid-Hudson Valley region.

Medical Lending

Have you ever needed a cane, or a walker, or a similar Medical device? We can help. The Medical Lending Service, available to anybody in the community who needs it, has a variety of devices to loan free of charge.

Senior Services

Programs include historical lectures, travelogues, musical performances, health-related lectures and other topics affecting Seniors.

Counseling and Referral

The Jewish Family Services of Dutchess County offers short term counseling and mental health or social service referrals to the general population and connects individuals with appropriate social service and mental health services.

Emergency Fund

Jewish Family Services of Dutchess County established a dedicated fund, called the Emergency Fund for Jewish Families, to help individuals and families who are in a financial emergency, and who are unable to make a rent/mortgage payment, utility payment, purchase food or urgently needed medicine.
